So I figure you're a little worried at this point, judging by the title. To set the record straight right off the bat, I'm not schizophrenic. Or, at least, I've never been diagnosed...
So now that we've got that out of the way, allow me to introduce myselves...
The name's Candace. I'm a 20-something woman trying to find her way in this weird world, as most 20-somethings are. When the rest of my high school class graduated and started getting married, I was more focused on starting my career. (I live in Mississippi, so getting married and starting a family at age 17 is the norm...actually 17 is probably a little old. Change that to 15.) I went to the local community college, not sure of what I was going into, and somehow managed to stretch a 2 year college into a 5 year college. Yeah, that takes a lot of talent. I DID manage to end up with 2 degrees, though - Microcomputer Technology and Radiologic Technology. I mean, how many 17-18 year olds know what the heck they want to do for the rest of their lives? I sure didn't. Anyways, back to my story... I am now a Registered Radiologic Technologist, working part time at 2 different hospitals doing X-ray and CT, and now have been approved to start training on MRI - woohoo!! When I'm not working
- which is quite often these days - I am a housewife/veterinarian/maid/repairwoman/construction worker/and some days, a cook.
Ok, so I'm not technically all those things, but I do wear a lot of hats. I'm very happily married to a wonderful man, Brock, who's a fireman and works even weirder hours than I do, (24 on/48 off), and who is also in EMT school. So, of course, poor little ole me gets left with all the regular housewife/maid stuff around the house to do. Don't get me wrong, Brock does do his part when he's home. WHEN he's home. Sooo...I get to play repairwoman and construction worker every now and then - of course, he has to fix whatever I've done when he gets home. (haha) To keep me company on those lonely days, we have 4 dogs: Roxy (who is AWOL at this moment), Oliver, Mullet, and the queen dog that doesn't know she's a dog, Sadie. I love my pups! I get to fix their boo-boos, run them around and even dress them up. Hmmm...maybe that's a sign I need a baby...
Nah.
Anyways, there's an introduction to my fantastically boring life. By the way, I've never been good at sticking to stuff, so I guess I might or I might not see you in the future. Only time will tell...

Oh man, how does it feel like marrying at 17?
